Technical Sales Specialist

We have an immediate requirement for a highly driven, articulate person that can succeed in prospecting and closing IT sales and consultative opportunities. The successful candidate will be confident, resourceful, professional and team oriented. In this junior sales position, you will work with the senior technical sales and engineering team to develop and complete the sales process from lead to close.

Primary responsibilities include:

Generating sales leads and developing new business opportunities.
Growing new and existing customer relationships.
Develop and implement various marketing campaigns.
Helping clients with computer hardware/software & network configurations with the assistances of senior technical sales staff.
Articulating technology solutions and the value they bring to our clients.
Responding to RFQ (request for quotations) and preparing quotations.
Preparing and submitting weekly progress reports.

Experience/Qualifications required:

Enjoy technical selling to principals and top management of small and medium sized business (SMB) accounts.
1-2 years computer technology sales experience in a business-to-business environment involving network/computer technical services and hardware/software solutions. Experience with Microsoft, DELL, HP, Cisco and Symantec products is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in consultative selling and proactive customer service.
Being a detail-oriented self starter with demonstrated time-management and business organization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Senior/Intermediate Network Engineer

HUB Computer Solutions is currently looking for a Senior/Intermediate Network Engineer. The ideal candidate must have exceptionally strong analytical and technical skills and a track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients within diverse business environments. You will work closely with the entire Service Delivery team to provide the exceptional customer service that our clients are accustomed to. Your responsibilities will include performing design, implementation and technical support services for our client's network infrastructures.

Responsibilities will include:

Interfacing with Technical Sales engineers on IT solution design and planning

Responsible for advanced network and IT solution deployments and documentation

Responsible for quick and efficient problem resolution and technical support for clients

Responsible for conducting customer facing network and technology assessments

Responsible for evaluating and testing new technologies and methodologies

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Relevant Post Secondary Degree or the equivalent certifications and/or experience

Minimum 3 years hands-on IT experience fully supporting and building SMB type environments

Extensive experience with Windows Server/Exchange/SQL, BES, Active Directory networking environments

Able to dynamically multi-task across numerous issues and departments in a high pressure environment

Certified or skilled in virtualization technologies, VMWare and Hyper-V

Certified or skilled in Citrix or Terminal Services, both server and client side

Strong working knowledge of routing, switching, and security solutions (firewalls, VPN, WAN and encryption technologies)

A strong working knowledge of Cisco routing technologies would be an asset

Experience in developing DR would be an asset

Must possess your own vehicle and valid drivers license.

You must possess excellent communications both written and verbal, strong leadership skills, passion for the technology and new challenges, superior troubleshooting and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management, and other technical staff.

Position Details:

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
